Week 2A- Creative Costumes

I always get really excited for Halloween and every year my costume is pretty much amazing. My all time favorite costume was Barney. I was like three or four and the costume had a tail and a mask and everything. When I was in first grade I was Tinker Bell. I was all excited and my whole night was ruined when these people jumped out and scared me on a front porch. I fell and ripped my tights and had a bloody knee, and I definitely cried. My funniest Halloween memory was when I was a Barbie cheerleader and my brother was Scream. We went with a pretty big group that year and when my brother was running to the next house he ran into a fence. I have never seen a bigger bruise in my life! I couldn’t keep from laughing, but Jess did not find it funny at all. The best part is after trick or treating. My brother and I would always go home and sort our candy into groups. Then we would trade our candy for something the other one had that we liked better.

Week 1A- Music Defines You

In the days of slavery the slaves would sing songs that sort of defined them. Today I listen to all sorts of music. Country, rap, hip hop, alternative, punk, emo, rock, basically anything. The music I listen to changes with the mood I am in. When I am mad I listen to rock, punk, alternative, or emo music. But really i listen to alternative music all the time. Whenever i fly on an airplane, i have this tradition that i have to listen to God Bless the USA. Kind of weird but I've done it since I was little. If I’m sad I usually listen to slow country songs. When I’m happy or excited I listen to a lot of hip hop because it’s just pretty much amazing. I think the fact that I listen to a little bit of everything shows that my personality is very random. In the future people will probably listen to our music and say it is stupid. Just like we listen to the music our parents grew up with and say it is stupd.

Week No. 4 Dumb Laws

There are a lot of dumb laws in the world so here are a few of what I guess I would call my favorites.

- It is considered an offense to open an umbrella on a street, for fear of spooking horses. [Why in the heck would there be horses on the road?]
- Boogers may not be flicked into the wind. [EEEWWW!]
- It is considered an offense to push a live moose out of a moving airplane. [Umm since when do moose go on airplanes??]
- Coins are not allowed to be placed in one’s ears. [That would hurt so bad! Why would you do that?!]

Week No. 6 Making a Comeback

“Every setback is an opportunity for a comeback.” This is so true with anything you do in life. I have experienced a lot of setbacks with my ankles. I have injured them three times in the last two and a half years. Two of those times have put me on crutches, and the third time [right now] I have to wear a giant stupid boot thing for a month. It sucks. But I have learned to heal them as fast as possible and get right back into my sports. There is nothing worse than having to watch all of your teammates participate when you can barely even walk. So I guess I would say that is my motivation for getting better as quickly as I can.

Week No. 5 Grizzly You

If I could go anywhere in the world to be a transcendentalist, I would go to a Caribbean Island like the Bahamas or Haiti. That or just some random deserted Island would be fun too. I would go here because I love the calmness of being near the ocean. Although it is great to just relax on the beach all day I would encounter some problems. There could be bad weather like hurricanes if I was there during that season, and there are sharks in the ocean. Sharks scare the crap out of me so I wouldn’t like that too much. If I were to actually go I think my personality would change. I would probably feel less pressured to be perfect. I would learn to not overly care about certain things.
